Get out the brooms, Kings beat Nuggets again 119-114

Despite Nikola Jokic’s career-high 50 points, the Sacramento Kings played one of their most complete games of the season in a thrilling 119-114 victory over the Denver Nuggets Saturday afternoon at the Golden 1 Center. The win earned the Kings a 3-0 season sweep of the Nuggets and brought their record back to the .500 mark at 11-11.

Harrison Barnes led four players with 20+ for the game with 28 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Richaun Holmes added 21 points and 10 rebounds. De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton chipped in 24 and 23 points respectively.

Sacramento was efficiently sharing the ball all day dishing out 30 assists while only committing seven turnovers. It was a fun game to watch as the ball flew around the court while players passed up good shots for wide-open great shots.

The Kings have now won six of their last seven games, but do not have much time to celebrate as they face the vaunted Los Angeles Clippers in a Sunday matinee at the Staples Center. Their last two matchups with the Clips have not gone well, so this will be a true test to see if they have really turned the corner on this season.
